Dive in crystal clear water for the day. This journey begins with a stop on the town of Sierpe for breakfast (not included), followed by a 90 minute boat ride among crocodiles, snakes, four species of monkeys and many of birds through the largest area of mangrove swamps in Central America to Caño Island, you will pass by two of the most scenic areas in the country, Drake Bay and the Marenco Biological Reserve where we’ll keep an eye out for dolphins as well as Humpback, Pilot and Killer whales. On arrival to the island, you will have time to snorkel and swim in the water until it’s time for the picnic lunch. After that, you can choose between keep snorkeling or to remain on the beach to get a tan or hike the island trails until it’s time to head back to your hotel

Today you will have the opportunity to explore gorgeous coral reefs and turquoise blue waters at Cano Island.
Located near the Osa Peninsula is one of the best Costa Rican snorkeling and scuba diving destinations. Join us on this magical boat tour and explore with detail the mysteries of the underwater world. This tour combines two of Costa Rica’s most magnificent jewels: Caño Island Biological Reserve and Violines Island. Early departure transfer to Punta Uvita where a boat waits for us to start to glide through the Pacific Ocean, during this beautiful trip you might observe whales (seasonally), dolphins, turtles, and marine birds.
Upon arrival to Caño Island get ready for a snorkel adventure, this area preserves the healthiest coral reef, during the tour you might observe a great variety of marine species, many of which are in danger of extinction. Afterward 30 minutes approximately, you will head by boat to the north side of Violines Island, a beautiful small island with lush vegetation. Upon arrival, the guides will prepare a tasty picnic lunch, the rest of the time will be free to enjoy the beach or swim in its safe and tranquil bay. During the dry season, it is possible to snorkel in the reefs of Violines Island. At 2:30 p.m. we will start heading back to Punta Uvita, following the coast you will be able to see, from the boat, the largest Mangrove forest under protection in Central America: the Térraba Mangrove Forest. Upon arrival to Punta Uvita transfer back to the hotel.
