Hacienda Pozo Azul is located in the heart of the Sarapiquí Rainforest. Sustainably operated and awarded the highest level of the ICT’s Certificate of Sustainable Tourism. This 2500-acre property is a private reserve embedded in the rainforest with vast rivers, mountains, and valleys with some farming activities like reforestation, cattle and agricultural products.

Horses are our specialty; we have raised them for generations. And have selected for you, horses of certified good health, strong, and well trained. Many internal trails and solitary back roads in the area are just what you will have for a real adventure on a horse. We provide the ideal route and length of the ride for you, trained guides will provide a safer ride on this beautiful and wild scenery, for an unforgettable experience.
