During the hike, you can enjoy the natural surroundings, and with a little luck, you will see some of the many sloths that inhabit the area.
What to expect
We will start from Puerto Viejo with a tour of the town, passing by some prominent places of great cultural importance. At the end of this short journey we reach the beginning of the secret path; a hidden trail unknown by many visitors in the area. This road takes us in the direction of Playa Cocles, following the exuberant green coast.
At the end of the road, we reach a beautiful lookout point with incredible views of the Caribbean. That’s where we will take a short break to try some typical snacks and, if you wish, take a dip in the sea. After the break, we will return to the same starting point where the tour will end.
